My reviewįrom the very first pages of this book I was engrossed, not wanting to put the book down but also not wanting it to finish either. But he knows that nine times out of ten, it’s someone the victim knew.Īnd that means someone is lying. No one in the quiet suburban street saw anything – or at least that’s what they’re saying.ĭI Adam Fawley is trying to keep an open mind. Last night, eight-year-old Daisy Mason disappeared from a family party. I have to say, I didn’t realise it was part of a series initially so that was a lovely bonus! I’d heard quite a bit about this book and Cara Hunter before I managed to find a copy for myself but when I saw it in a charity shop I decided to pick it up straight away and I’m glad that I did! I agreed to buddy read this with a friend and at first we were both a bit worried about the fact that there were no distinctive chapters however we thought we’d give it a go and see how we got on.
